We are a mother-daughter duo based in Melbourne.
My mother, Paula, taught me to sew at 14 years of age. She herself had been sewing for decades, and she thought it would be something I would enjoy and that we could share.
Paula continued to sew as often as she possibly could, while I finished my Honours in Fashion design at RMIT University. After my experiences working in the fashion industry and Paula's rich catalog of small businesses she managed, we have finally decided to create a collaborative brand. One that we've been dreaming about for years.
We are absolutely thrilled to partake in this experience with you.
We start the design process with a piece of found-fabric. We find this not only greatly reduces waste but enriches the brand with an echo of the past. It also ensures that we never commit to a quantity of fabric before knowing a style is popular and will sell. Therefore, no pieces go to landfill!
Some pieces are one-off samples and our reproduced items will be made from either found-fabric, dead-stock or ethically sourced materials. Look out on the product pages for details on what kind of fabric we have used!
All of our pieces are made to order, please allow 7 days at most to dispatch your order #slowfashion
